A Confirmation of Aboriginality (CoA) is a formal document that verifies an individual’s Aboriginal identity as recognized by the Wanaruah Local Aboriginal Land Council.

This document is essential for accessing specific programs, services, and opportunities specifically designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It is based on a three-part definition: being of Aboriginal descent, identifying as Aboriginal, and being accepted as such by the community in which you live or lived.
